Kids Play is the playground your children love. Family Play is the one the whole family climbs, with thicker posts, main tower platforms up to 2.15 m, raised lofts up to 2.7 m and swing beams rated for adults. Once our certified crew has assembled it, the set carries the EN 1176 certificate that hotels need.

The decks carry the whole family
These sets are designed for older children, teenagers and adults, with thicker framing and reinforced beams rated for adult weight. The EN 1176 certificate is valid when our certified crew assembles the set.
Adult-rated swing beams
Heavy cedar posts and beams sized for adult weight, so parents swing next to their children instead of watching from a bench.
Bolted steel hardware
The joints are bolted steel, with powder-coated brackets at the points that carry the most weight.
Two warranties
A 5-year Woodlit warranty with no maintenance conditions, plus the Backyard Adventures limited lifetime structural warranty on above-ground wood, slides, powder-coated steel and hardware. Backyard Adventures is the guarantor; it covers home use for the original owner and depends on the yearly care described in the owner's manual.

EN 1176 is the European standard for playgrounds open to the public. Backyard Adventures sets carry no factory EN 1176 certificates. We commissioned a Polish certification body to issue them, so in Europe these certificates exist only through Woodlit. The certificate is issued for your installation and is valid when our certified crew assembles the set; if a model is missing its certificate, it is issued within about a week, while your set is on its way.

Family Play sets are assembled by our certified crew. That keeps the EN 1176 certificate valid for hotels, campsites and public settings, and the work is quoted together with the set, so there is nothing to add later. The sets stand on screw-in ground anchors on firm, level ground; standard installations need no concrete. Self-assembly with the 3D BILT app remains possible on the smaller models for private gardens.

Can adults use these sets?
Yes. Decks run from 1.5 to 2.7 m, the framing is heavy cedar and the swing beams are rated for adults, so parents climb and swing alongside their children.
Are they EN 1176 certified as standard?
Yes, when our certified crew assembles the set. In Europe these certificates exist only through Woodlit, issued by a Polish certification body for your installation. If a model is missing its certificate, it is issued within about a week, while your set is on its way.

How do I order without an add-to-cart button?
Send an enquiry from this page or any product page. We confirm availability and freight within one working day and send a written quote that includes assembly. You pay by bank transfer against our invoice, and your 14-day cancellation right applies.
Can I assemble one myself?
On the smaller models for private gardens, yes, with the numbered parts and the 3D BILT app. For any commercial or guest-facing site the certificate requires assembly by our certified crew, and on the large sets a build takes the crew several days.
How do Kids Play and Family Play differ?
They do different jobs, and neither is a step down from the other. Kids Play is made for children up to about twelve in a private garden, and you order it in a few clicks. Family Play is made at a larger scale, with decks an adult stands on, swing beams rated for adult weight and thicker cedar posts.
