How long does assembly really take?
The manufacturer's manuals give two people 7 to 10 hours for the smaller sets and 18 to 20 hours for the bigger ones, plus about 3 hours for a spiral tube slide. Times vary with experience. What does the 5-year warranty cover?
Wooden parts: 5 years against rot and structural defects, with no maintenance conditions attached. Plastic and metal parts: 2 years. A real person handles claims, not a form.
Is it actually safe?
Every beam is sanded smooth and pre-stained, and the swing chains are coated to protect little fingers from pinching. The set stands on 40 cm steel ground anchors: it doesn't wobble, and it needs no concrete. A grown-up nearby for the small ones. Why do your age ranges differ from the maker’s?
The range on each page is our own recommendation, from years of selling and assembling these sets. A twelve-year-old gets bored on a small set within minutes, and a bored child starts playing rough. The big frames are built to take that; the smaller ones are not. So we cap the age where the set stops being interesting, not where the maker’s label does.
How does delivery work for something this big?
By pallet to your kerb or gate, free anywhere in the EU. The driver won't carry it to the back garden, so have a helper or trolley ready. You'll get the delivery date before you pay.
What ground do I need? Do I need to anchor it?
Flat grass, rubber tiles or bark. No concrete, ever: the set stands on 40 cm steel ground anchors, included and required. Leave 2 m clear around the set on every side as a safe play zone.
What if the kids don't love it?
Every Kids Play set includes our 60-Day Guarantee. If your kids aren't outside more, tell us within 60 days of delivery. Take it apart, pack it into the original boxes (so keep them) and we arrange collection. A collection fee and a 15% restocking deduction apply, both stated before we book, and we refund the rest once the set is back with us.

Why cedar
19 years, and
no set returned for rot
Cedar’s own oils protect the wood. Since 2007 we have not had a single set returned for rot or decay.
Spruce sets are pressure-treated to resist rot. Cedar does it with its own oils, so staining is for looks, never for protection.
Cedar stays cool in full sun, and its tight knots make the boards less likely to crack and catch small hands.
Our 5-year warranty has no maintenance conditions. Over the years the wood greys and picks up dirt. It needs no treatment, but if you want the set to keep looking new, give it a wash and a coat of sealant or stain each spring.
“Sturdy” is the word parents use in reviews. Every joint is bolted with steel hardware, the swing beam sits in powder-coated brackets, and six ground anchors hold the legs.
And yes, it smells of cedar.
Kids Play safety

A lab tries to trap a head, a finger or a hood string in every gap, and to tip the frame over. A set passes EN 71 testing only if each attempt fails.
What the lab did
Three groups of tests, run by independent labs, not by the maker. Every set that passes EN 71 testing goes through all three.
Head, neck and finger probes go into every gap. A toggle on a cord is dragged down the slide. The frame is loaded and pulled with the anchors in place.
A flame is held to the wood, the stain and the plastics. The lab times how fast it spreads and checks that against a limit.
Stain, plastics and wood are tested for heavy metals, softeners and banned wood preservatives. Nothing is above the limits for toys.

The safe play zone is the figure that decides it. The structure is 6.7 × 5.1 m, but children need clear ground around it: plan for 10.3 × 8.7 m of level garden with no fences, walls or trees inside that area.
The wood
All the wood in the Skyfort II is cedar. Cedar’s natural oils resist rot, insects and moisture without the chemical pressure treatment used on most pine swing sets sold in Europe. Left alone it weathers to a soft silver-grey; with a coat of sealant or stain each spring it keeps its warm colour.
Assembly
Two people, around 20 hours, so plan for a full weekend, and allow longer for a first build. Every part arrives pre-drilled and labelled, with 3D step-by-step guidance in the BILT app. If you’d rather not, our crew assembles it in a day for €940.
Delivery and warranty
Delivery is free anywhere in the EU, from our warehouse in Poland. It arrives as four boxes plus the slide, 356 kg in total. The 5-year warranty applies in a home garden. Installing a Kids Play set in a public or commercial setting voids it. For schools, hotels and campsites, look at Family Play instead: those sets are certified to EN 1176 when our certified crew assembles them.

The wood in this swing set is 100% cedar. Its knots are small and tight, so the boards are less likely to develop small cracks around them. Cedar resists rot and decay. All boards come pre-stained for a smooth, clear finish. Each one is pre-cut and stamped with its part number to help speed up assembly. Almost every hole is pre-drilled, and a Kids Play set needs around 10 holes drilled during assembly.

What age group are Kids Play sets best suited for?
Ages 2 to 12. Each set's page gives the range we recommend for that model. Deck heights are generally 1.2 to 1.5 m, and up to 1.8 m on some models such as the Woodridge. Rock walls challenge the older children, and flat-step ladders suit the younger ones.
Will these swing sets fit in a smaller or urban garden?
Yes, if you have 7.7 × 6.9 m of clear, level ground. That is the safe play zone of the Sunnydale, the smallest set we sell. Compact models like the Sunnydale still carry a snack stand, a 2.4 m slide and space for a sandpit, and leave more of your lawn free.
Do I need to treat the wood with sealants to prevent rot?
No. The wood in Kids Play sets is 100% cedar, with tight knots. Its natural oils resist decay, moisture and insects without chemical pressure treatment. It arrives pre-stained with a smooth finish. A coat of sealant or stain each spring is optional and keeps the set looking new. Left alone, the wood weathers to a silver grey.
Do I need carpentry skills to assemble the swing set?

What kind of activities are included beyond standard swings?
That depends on the model. Your kids can serve food from a lower-level café with a toy barbecue and sink, cross an elevated tunnel, race down a 3 m wave or tube slide, or keep watch from a crow's nest with a telescope.
