How do I order, and what happens next?
Send the quote request on this page. Within one working day we confirm that the set is available, price the freight to your address and send one written figure that already includes delivery and assembly by our crew. If you accept, we invoice and you pay by bank transfer. Nothing is charged before you have the figure in writing.
Who assembles it, and does that affect the EN 1176 certificate?
Our own certified crew assembles it, and the cost is inside the quoted price rather than added later. The EN 1176 certificate is issued for your installation and is valid when our certified crew assembles it, which matters for hotels, campsites, kindergartens and any site that guests can reach. In a private garden you may assemble the smaller sets yourself using the numbered parts and the 3D BILT app, and the certificate then does not apply.
What does the warranty cover?
Every set carries the 5-year Woodlit warranty against structural failure of the wood, metal and hardware, with no maintenance conditions attached. On top of that, Backyard Adventures gives a limited lifetime warranty on the above-ground cedar, the slides, the powder-coated steel and the hardware for as long as you own the set, and that one asks for yearly care: a coat of stain and the bolts checked each season. All remaining components are covered for 5 years. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by either.
What upkeep does it need?
Very little, but not none. Check and tighten the bolts once a month, since timber moves as it dries. Cedar resists rot on its own and will silver if you leave it, so staining is about colour rather than survival, though a yearly coat is what keeps the manufacturer's limited lifetime cover in force. Inspect swing seats and chains through the season and take the seats in over winter.
Where do I get the technical manuals and drawings?
Ask us and we send them. Assembly manuals, footprint and safety-zone drawings and the EN 1176 documentation for your set all come from us directly rather than from a download link, because the correct revision depends on the exact configuration you order. These sets are made on a larger scale than a standard swing set and arrive in several boxes. Assembly by our certified crew is also what keeps the EN 1176 certificate valid for hotels, campsites and any site that guests can reach. It is quoted together with the set, so there is nothing to add at checkout. On the smaller models, in a private garden, you can still assemble the set yourself with the 3D BILT® app.

The frame
Backyard Adventures makes Family Play sets with thicker cedar framing than garden swing sets, to carry adults as well as children. Parents can climb up and play next to their kids.
Warranty and certification
Limited lifetime warranty on wood, metal and hardware. An EN 1176 certified version is also available. EN 1176 is the standard hotels and campsites must meet, and the certificate is valid when our certified crew assembles the set. Ask our team about it.
Delivery and assembly
We deliver from our warehouse in Poland. The freight is priced for your address and included in your written quote. Our certified crews cover selected regions, and we confirm availability for your address in the same quote.
The heavy cedar timbers are milled to size, pre-stained and stamped for accurate assembly. Backyard Adventures covers the above-ground wood, steel and hardware for as long as you, the original owner, own the set, kept valid by yearly care. All remaining components are covered for 5 years.

Are the Family Play sets truly strong enough for adults to use?
Yes. The cedar framing is much thicker, the steel hardware is strong and the platforms are high and reinforced. Parents can climb into the fort, cross the bridges and slide down next to their children, safely and comfortably.
How is Family Play different from a regular garden swing set?
It is bigger, heavier and built for the whole family. Decks carry adults, the slides are taller, and multi-level layouts are joined by adventure bridges. It is also certified to EN 1176, the standard hotels and campsites have to meet, so the same set works at a guesthouse or campsite. Most families never need that certificate. They choose it because it is the strongest range we sell.
What kind of warranty covers these larger structures?
Two warranties run together. Backyard Adventures, the manufacturer, covers above-ground wood, steel and hardware for as long as you, the original owner, own the set, against rot, decay and structural defects. That cover is kept valid by simple yearly care: one coat of UV stain and the bolts tightened at the start of each season. We register your set for you on delivery. All remaining components are covered for 5 years. Parts are supplied free of charge; transport and fitting are not included. None of this affects your statutory rights.
Are these sets big enough for a large family or the neighbours’ children?
Yes. Many Family Play sets have two or three deck heights, more than one slide (spiral tube and wave slides among them) and wide layouts joined by adventure bridges. They are made to carry several children at once.

What kind of activities are included beyond standard swings?
It depends on the model. Your kids can serve food from a lower playhouse with a kitchenette, climb a rock wall, cross an adventure bridge between two forts, go down a wave, tube or rocket slide, or look out through a telescope.
